Connieís Fresh Fruit Salad
2 apples - 1 Granny Smith , 1 sweet apple (your choice)
1 fresh pear
Red seedless grapes
Green seedless grapes
1 fresh pineapple
1 fresh peach
Cut the apples, pear, pineapple, and peach into chunks, then add the grapes. Place a heaping tablespoon of either cinnamon or amaretto peach honey jelly in a small bowl and break the structure by stirring. When it is runny, pour over the fruit and mix well.
The honey jelly will make the fruit sweet and glistening. Its high honey content will also preserve the fruit salad and keep it from turning dark. (Use more than a heaping tablespoon if you prefer more flavor.)
Chocolate & Pecan Cake
This dessert is a really big hit with guests when you have a dessert buffet.
1 Duncan Hines chocolate fudge cake mix
Ĺ jar pecan honey jelly
1/4 cup water
Prepare cake mix and bake in sheetcake pan per box instructions. Cool for 15-20 minutes. While the cake is cooling, empty 1/2 jar of pecan honey jelly into a small sauce pan and add 1/4 cup of water. Mix the jelly and water together and bring to a boil. Pierce the top of the cake with a knife, and pour the boiling mixture all over the top surface of the cake. Serve with toasted pecans and Cool Whip or ice cream.
Orange Blossom Honey Jelly
On toasted English muffins is our favorite way to eat this one.
Rosemary Balsamic Honey Jelly
A condiment jelly or glaze for lamb and pork... With butter on Italian bread or hot cornbread...In baked sweet potatoes...on hot baked Brie or over cream cheese...
Cinnamon Honey Jelly
Tasty with Orange Cranberry bagels, with or without cream cheese. The Cinnamon is also good on plain and cinnamon bagels.
Raspberry Honey Jelly
Great on bagels with cream cheese.
Peach and Pear Honey Jellies
Absolutely at their best with a good hot buttered biscuit.
Try the Cinnamon Jelly on a banana. It is the best snack in the world and a healthy one!
Bread and Toast: They are all good on any kind of bread, especially whole wheat. Donít miss honey jelly and peanut butter sandwiches.
Cinnamon Honey Jelly and Pecan Honey Jelly are especially good with waffles or French Toast. Stir and use as you would a pancake or waffle syrup.
Pecan Honey Jelly can be stirred (or warmed slightly) to break the gel structure and then poured over Cheesecake and Ice Creams. Besides using on biscuits, toast, and English Muffins, Pecan Honey Jelly is excellent on sweet breads like carrot bread, zucchini bread, or pound cake. If served as a topping for pound cake, take a scoop of your favorite flavor of ice cream, put on top of a slice of pound cake and then pour stirred Pecan Honey Jelly on top. Or try this combination: Sara Lee Pound Cake, Mayfields Butter Pecan Ice Cream, a small amount of the Pecan Honey Jelly topping on it and a dollop of whipped cream, served with a orange-flavored gourmet coffee!! Yum Yum! Keep the servings small because it makes a very rich, satisfying dessert. (Remember, stir the jelly really well before using as a topping.)
Glazes for meat:
Pecan: excellent glaze for Ham; Orange Blossom: adds flavor to baked Chicken; Cinnamon: good on Ham when served with cooked apples; Rosemary Balsamic: excellent with Lamb (mint jelly will never touch your lamb again); great glaze for Pork Tenderloin.
To use as glazes, be sure to stir until the jelly is the consistency of honey again. Pour over the cooked meat of your choice and reheat until the jelly is warm.
